Varsity
The varsity girls basketball defeated Kennett in grand fashion on Senior night 52-19. The team boasted a 24-6 halftime lead and never looked back. Senior Guards Cami Redfern and Janice Hauck both connected on 4 three point shots each totaling 12 points apiece. Alison Lewis contributed 13 points for the Indians. Senior guard Sydney Hughes had 2 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals in addition to doing the majority of the ball handling. Seniors Erinn Menninger, Caitlin Clark and, Corrinne Blue all played key roles in the UHS victory. The Indians record now stands at 9-5 overall and 4-2 in Chesmont League play.
JV
The JV girls basketball team also defeated Kennet 43-13. 10 Indians scored as Logan Perkins led the team with 9 points. Micayla Flores and Adrianna Weber both contributed 6 points. The JV team improved its record to 10-3.
