The Girls Varsity basketball team defeated Octorara 44-34 last night in Chesmont League action. The team had a balanced scoring attack lead by Alison Lewis with 10 points and Sydney Hughes, Cami Redfern and Emily Winn with 9 points each. Cami Redfern shot 6 for 6 from the foul line and Emily Winn had 14 rebounds. The teams record now stands at 8-5 overall and 3-2 in league play.
The JV girls basketball team also defeated Octorara 34-5 with Kelly Hauck leading all scorers with 10 points.
