The JV soccer team ended their season with a 4-0 VICTORY over Downingtown West last night. After a slow start to the season, the JV team did not lose in their last 11 games. This marks a great time as they wrap up the season with a final record of 10 wins, 2 losses, and 3 ties. Congratulations!
The Varsity team took on the stingy Downingtown West team as well last night. The game was a battle as the score was 1-1 going deep into the second half. After some of the senior boys showed up to make a very impressive student section, Unionville opened the gates and scored two more goals to take home a 3-1 victory. This marks one of the most successful season in Unionville history as the soccer team won the Ches-Mont Championship by going undefeated (13-0) and maintain an overall record of 16-2. As of last night, the Unionville team is ranked #4 in extremely fierce District One for soccer. Stay tuned for next week’s update to include the District Playoffs.
