The JV girls volleyball team lost a very close match to Downingtown East yesterday. Set scores were 22-25, 25-19 and 13-15. The whole game was a nail biter with long rallies and a close score the entire match. The middles, Lauren Stokes and Kay Tuerff lead the way putting up big blocks and getting lots of kills. Outside hitters Analise Griffiths and Sisi Snavely made some excellent plays against Downingtown's 6' 6" middle hitter. Morgan Canino and Taylor Lindsay dug up countless hits to give us the opportunity to run our offense. Last but not least, Emma Daly ran the offense with confidence giving our hitters perfect sets almost every time. Although the match is not a win in the books, it is a win in our hearts.
