JV Boys Ice Hockey

Congratulations to the JV boys ice hockey team on winning this year's President's Cup! The team defeated Malvern Prep in a thrilling championship game by a score of 4-3. In a very close game overall, Unionville defended a penalty shot and a 6 on 4 penalty kill for the final 1:40 minutes of play to hold on to their lead. Congratulations to the Unionville JV team and their coaches!!

Indoor T+F update

The Indoor track and field program competed at Lehigh on Saturday in the track carnival.
Cole Walker and Brett Wagner both placed 6th in their respective events to lead the boys team.
Freshmen Jack MIles again PR'd and has now pole vaulted 12 feet, which is the top mark by a 9th grader in PA this winter.

Marcella Krautzel led the girls team with a career best 5:26.44 time in the mile.

The JV team will compete at the Valentine's Day Invitational outdoors on Wednesday.

The outdoor track and field meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb 21st at 2:55 in the LGI.

Finally there will be a track and field parent meeting on 2/28 at 7pm in the cafeteria.

The girls JV basketball team ended their season Friday afternoon with a 32-19 home victory over Kennett.  Alexia Brown was the game's high scorer with 8 points.  Lindsey Robbins and Lily Dietrich each contributed 7 points, and Emma Dempsey had 6.  The girls finished the season with a record of 17 wins and 1 loss.

The girls JV basketball team took down a very strong Garnet Valley team Saturday night, defeating the Jaguars by a score of 35-28.  Lyndsey Barrett led all scorers with 13 points.  The girls will face cross-town rival, Bayard Rustin, at 6:00 Monday night, at Rustin.

The girls JV basketball team defeated Sun Valley in the season's home opener, 51-9.  A balanced scoring attack was led by Emma Dempsey who scored 9 points, Anna Iacocca and Alexia Brown with 8 points each, and Lily Dietrich with 7 points.  The girls next home game is 6:00 pm Monday, December 18 against Upper Merion.
