The Lady Indians JV basketball team came out of the holiday break well rested and defeated Downingtown West Tuesday evening, 50-29. Meghan Megill led the way with 12 points and Lindsey Barrett added 11. Sam Ciccarelli chipped in 10 points while Kathy Heldt contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds. The girls' next game is Thursday, January 5, at home vs. West Chester Rustin.

The Lady Indians JV basketball team split their 2 games in the West Chester University JV Tournament over the holidays. Unionville beat Lower Merion 21-17 in the first game, led by Olivia Cresta and Anna Iacocca, who each scored 7 points. The second game saw the UHS JVs fall to an experienced Central Bucks East team, 38-15. Sam Ciccarelli and Kathie Heldt each scored 4 points in the loss. The girls' next game is against Downingtown West on Tuesday evening, January 3, at Unionville.

The girls JV basketball team followed up Wednesday's win with a very balanced attack on Thursday night as they defeated Sun Valley, 38-19. While every Unionville player scored, the team was led by Olivia Cresta and Same Ciccarelli, who each had 8 points. The JV girls play their next home game on Tuesday, January 3 vs. Downingtown West.
