9th grade baseball results May 4

A two-out, 7th inning rally led to a 5-2 win over Great Valley for the 9th grade baseball team. Poor first inning defense was responsible for 2 unearned runs and an early disadvantage for the Indians. Hits by winning pitcher Michael Walter-Dillon, Drew D'Angelo, Keenan Craig, and AJ Weaver keyed the 7th inning comeback. D'Angelo and Craig had two hits apiece. Patrick Keenan walked twice and played dirty defense at 2nd base. Ben Ciccarelli and Jake Abrams both accounted for crucial sliding catches in the outfield. The freshman team looks to avenge an early season loss to Downingtown East Tuesday on the road.
