Re: Girls JV Basketball - Jan 16 - KENNETT

Unionville's girls JV basketball team continued their winning ways Tuesday afternoon by defeating cross-town rival, Kennett High School, 32-20.  Once again, a balanced scoring attack saw Casey Baughan, Anna Iacocca, and Emma Dempsey score 8 points a piece to lead the Lady Indians.  The girls' next home game is Thursday, January 25 against Downingtown East.

The girls JV basketball team improved it's record to 6-0, defeating division rival, Oxford, by the score of 33-20.  Lily Dietrich led the Lady Indians with 9 points, and Alexia Brown added 8.  The girls will travel to Avon Grove Saturday evening for a 6:00 game.

The girls JV basketball team used a 4th quarter come-back to defeat division rival Great Valley, 32-29, pushing their record to 6-0.  Anna Iacocca led all scorers with 14 points and Casey Baughan added 6.  The Lady Indians will face another division rival, Oxford, at home on Thursday night at 6:00.

The girls JV basketball team took down a very strong Garnet Valley team Saturday night, defeating the Jaguars by a score of 35-28.  Lyndsey Barrett led all scorers with 13 points.  The girls will face cross-town rival, Bayard Rustin, at 6:00 Monday night, at Rustin.

The girls JV basketball team defeated Sun Valley in the season's home opener, 51-9.  A balanced scoring attack was led by Emma Dempsey who scored 9 points, Anna Iacocca and Alexia Brown with 8 points each, and Lily Dietrich with 7 points.  The girls next home game is 6:00 pm Monday, December 18 against Upper Merion.
